Nicholas Pepe is a fifth year Cognitive Science student. He received his B.A. in Psychology from Saint Joseph’s College and received his M.A. in Psychology from the Experimental Psychology Program at Long Island University. His current research focuses on cultural effects on retrieval disruption.
Tori Peña is a third year Cognitive Science student. She received her B.S. in Psychology and Biological Anthropology from Binghamton University in 2018. Her current research focuses on understanding the nuances of the effects of retrieval disruption on recall.
Garrett Greeley is a second year Cognitive Science student. He received his B.A. in Psychology from Winona State University in 2018. He is interested in researching the ways in which memory influences decision making and problem solving in collaborative contexts.
Daisy Alejandra Estrada
Alejandra Estrada is a first year doctoral student in the Cognitive Science program. She has received her B.A. in Psychology and History from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2020. Her current research focuses on culture and collective memory.
Melissa is currently a junior majoring in psychology and health science. Her hobbies include playing the guitar and travelling. In the past, she was involved in sleep research at NYU Langone and now she is both a project coordinator and a research assistant in our lab.
Mili is currently a senior psychology major on the pre-medicine track with a minor in chemistry. She has been inducted into the chemistry and psychology honor societies. She is heavily involved on campus through her sorority and the art club.
Christine is currently a senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Her hobbies include playing badminton, basketball, reading, and traveling. Post-graduation, she hopes to pursue a graduate degree in psychology, social work, or education.
Vanessa is currently a junior at Stony Brook. She is a biology major on the pre-health track with a minor in Health and Wellness. Her hobbies include reading, photography, and traveling.
Kylon is a biology major with a minor in chemistry on a pre-med track. His hobbies include xbox, movies, and exercising at the gym. He loves the movies so much that he even has an AMC membership.
Lobsang is currently a junior at SBU majoring in Psychology and minoring in Writing and Rhetoric on the pre-vet track. Her hobbies including reading, painting, hiking, and meditating.
Jiajun is currently a sophomore at SBU and is majoring in Psychology and Business. Some of his hobbies include biking, hiking, music, and soccer. Jianjun is particularly Interested in studying memory and social psychology.
Jasmine is currently a sophomore majoring in biology. Her hobbies include trying new foods and painting. Jasmine is also a public relations officer in the Chinese Association at Stony Brook (CASB).
Sara is a Sophomore at SBU and is currently majoring in Psychology for a B.S. degree. Her other work includes the PreMed Society and Division of Information Technology. Sara’s hobbies include watching movies in Bryant Park on Thursdays in the summer.
Weiye is a recent SBU graduate who majored.in Psychology and minored in anthropology. She likes knitting, singing and traveling. She was previously an advertiser at the International Student Organization.
